Whatever you decide upon, make sure your routine is stuck to as much as possible, as this makes the process more effortless.

There are now a good range of fitness DVD’s that instruct you to exercise in your own home. They range from aerobics style (not everyone’s cup of tea I know), to yoga and pilates, couple exercises, weight training and more. These DVD’s let you work out in the comfort of your own home, so you can do it any time and whatever the weather, and you don’t have to pay gym fees.

You might not think of yoga as exercise, but is has proven to be highly effective at improving fitness and health. give it a try by following along with a video or a book. Once you get the hang of the moves you will be surprised at the difference it makes to your energy levels, flexibility and mindset.
