Hanging leg raises for abs

For abs the crunch is king but the hanging leg raise is a great compliment to crunch exercises and you can do this hanging from a home pullup bar. The key is to doing these correctly is to do them slowly, no swinging. Your torso should remain motionless and your legs should slowly pivot at the hips. You go from hanging to as far up as you can. If you have really strong abs and its not enough of a challenge, hold a weight between your feet. If you find this exercise too hard to do without swinging then do this exercise with your knees bent 90 degrees. Remember, if you want ripped abs its 95% fat removal and 5% ab exercises. The best abs in the world are invisible under a mound of fat. To remove the fat you need to eat less and do more cardio, that simple.
