But is bodybuilding simply going to the gym and lifting weights? Far from it, it is a disciplined regimen of diet, weightlifting, and training to include mind, body and spirit. In the world of male bodybuilding everyone can have a different opinion about what it means to become a male bodybuilder. Some believe it to be a sport; others consider it to be an art and some a science. Nonetheless, because of it’s complexity it cannot be categorized as any one subject. The programs are individualized; however all fall within four principles.

Male bodybuilding has four parameters to practice by, nutrition, recuperation, supplementation and exercise. Before expanding on these principles, one must know it take 100% dedication to each of these principles for the best results.

To maximize your results in male bodybuilding one must adopt the strictest training regimen and be dedicated to it. Choose a good diet and supplements and never skip on either. The key to a successful routine is good nutrition, good supplementation and weight training, but also in repetition. One must stick to the same routine everyday at the same time, consistency is an important factor.

Male bodybuilding also focuses on rest and recuperation. After working hard in the gym and pushing your muscles to the brink performing your body building routine, your muscles need sleep and rest; during this rest time is when your muscle mass grows and mends.

The HIT Male Bodybuilding System:

HIT is an acronym for Highly Intensive Training. This is a popular method of male bodybuilding training. It is the most dem anding on the body, but well worth it, because it is the most efficient and effective method of bodybuilding.

The HIT method of bodybuilding is based on intense workouts that emphasize on compound movements and progression. Muscle hypertrophy takes place when muscles become torn and broken down. It’s the body’s way of protecting the muscle, similar to when calluses grow to protect our skin.

The HIT system capitalizes on this phenomenon of muscle breakdown to rebuild stronger than before. Intensive male bodybuilding training augments the breakdown therefore increasing muscle mass and strength.
